Sara Alamin Mohammed Hassan is the Outreach Manager at Packet Clearing House (PCH), a leading international organisation responsible for supporting Internet exchange point (IXP) development and providing global DNS infrastructure. She brings over a decade of experience in network systems engineering, capacity building, and Internet infrastructure development across Africa and the Middle East.

Before joining PCH, Sara served as Chief Technology Officer at the Sudanese Research and Education Network (SudREN), where she led strategic technology initiatives to connect universities and research institutions across Sudan. She also held technical roles at the Nile Center for Technology Research (NCTR), where she worked on core network systems and innovation programmes.

Sara is a long-standing contributor to the Sudan Network Operators Group (SdNOG) which she co-founded.  She is passionate about Internet governance, regional capacity development, and improving technical community collaboration across Africa. She has spoken at numerous industry events, including MENOG, AfNOG, and the OECD Internet technical working groups.

Sara has an MSc. in Internet Engineering, and a BSc. in Electronic Engineering. and is widely respected for her leadership in advancing resilient, community-driven Internet infrastructure.
